An Idle Sabbath.

Last week I stayed at church while my parents and brother went home to rest. I stayed to join the AY program and to spend time with my dear friends of youth, since we only meet once per week. For a moment, I wondered why our youth members in church are becoming less and less weekly. The quantity of members who joins AY alters and varies greatly. I hope we can figure this out in our next meeting. Maybe it is because of sickness or school classes...

I need to wait until 3:00pm for AY, because there is no choir practice at 1:00pm. Since our choir presented in Andrasi Church, out choir had rested until now. I think it has been few weeks. Kak Janet, I can't wait to sing the next song!!! I hope we will sing and practice again this week. I can see interests and passions in this choir have slowly dimmed. We need to fire up boys and girls! Though our singing is not very good, and we do not have a grade 8 or higher qualified pianist, but we must not be discouraged. Let us put our effort together in this choir, we will improve gradually and will finally reach our goal.

"Ok, it is 3:00pm already, time for AY to start." but........ Sadly! No AY this week. Because only less than 8 of us are there, so we just canceled it. It has already been a few week without AY because of some event. I am really scare that our youth are getting lazy and ignorant of this AY program. I fear that our newly revived AY will die just like that.

I am being plain and simple here. I urge that all Tawau Adventist Youth members to think again our first ambition that is to have a healthy and active youth. We are the example to the younger generation, let us teach and instruct them by our actions and deportment. I can say, the future of Tawau SDA church's youth will radically depend on what we do now. Let us not forget, neither weary or feel tired. The Lord longs to renew and strengthen us, and He will, only if we ask them fervently.

Remember to pray for our AY. Also pray specially for those who are sick and those who have Sabbath problems that prevent them to come. See you next AY, next Sabbath :P
